Mesmerised by the play of Ewa Pajor, Poland's best striker, in the 2022/23 UEFA Women's Champions League that saw her finish as the top scorer, I created a personal graphic celebrating her achievement as an exercise. Having enjoyed both the process and final result, I decided to keep the ball rolling and explore how that art direction might function when expanded to the entire UWCL brand.
Starting originally with the four highlight posters for the standout players of the campaign, I based the formats and applications on existing posts from UWCL's social accounts - giving them the highly stylised, comic book inspired twist.
